The back story:

A common issue our team encountered from past work experiences was the story of interesting development and innovation that was not aligned with the organization's values or core to the business. What typically followed was “save the idea for the parking lot” or “let’s put this in the company product archives.” Despite the significant investment of time, energy, effort, cost, and personal commitment, these programs ultimately ended up as “files for later,” affecting not only the product pipeline but also the internal culture.
